Photographer’s Note
...in New Orleans.
Well, no, this is at Machu Picchu. One of the old structures has been re-roofed to show how it would have looked way back when. It actually looks reasonably comfortable, and you have to admit the rest of the setting is awesome.
I think, though, that the previous four days of walking op and down mountains in an Andean winter may have influenced my perception of this as comfortable...
Got a couple more Inca trail pics to come, I'll try not to overdo it, given how many great shots of this area are already on TE.
Cheers.

...they call the rising sun, it's been a ruin...This place is a ruin. Great close up shot, Adam, I can never get enough of a good shot from this amazing place. Keep it comming. Those of the Inca trail can be awsome the scenery of the river and passes. Spectacular all the way, the reward here is not just Machu Picchu, but the experience of the Inca. Perfect composition and good technical overall. Thanks. Have a great weekend.

The classic #1 POV of Machu Picchu, seen in an odd angle on ca clear sky in a good composition.
Looking forward to sharing your Inca trail Pictures, I'm almost done posting my own travelogue there ;)
