"Dreams are my reality, the only kind of reality
Maybe my foolishness is past and may now at last
I'll see how the real thing can be
Dreams are my reality, a wondrous world where I like to be"
Summer 2007 - I was scheduled to go onto Machu Picchu but doctors said I'd better let it drop
Summer 2011 - Doctors had no longer anything to complain....and the dream became reality
Image captured from the Guardian Hut facing the Machu Picchu ruins and having the Wayna Picchu in the background topped by clouds

What happened in 2007 that you couldn't go? healthy problems for such a young man?? But luckily in 2011 all was OK. Yes, it was also my dream to sea machu Picchu for maybe 30 years, i had not hope to fulfill it when i lived in communist Poland, but this dream became the reality. So I understand your feeling very well. The town in clouds, one ot the most beautiful views in the world.. beuaitufl composition, pity the clouds were so low, but it is a mystery in the photo.

Though it is not a sunny day, but the cloud ir high and the whole Machu Micchu is in clear view so, that is about as good as it could be for most people. At least you see the whole landscape. I was here and it was clear in the morning but started raining and the cloud move it. Those who came later that day didnt' see it.
Beautiful and good quality photo.

This must be the place most photographers would dream to go and being there is already an achievement not to mention the many shooting opportunities.
You have put yourself on the right and best vantage point so that we too can fully enjoy this lovely scene and share the excitement with you.

I remember this sight when I first laid eyes upon Machu Picchu, and it was quite awesome. you show it well here with your wide angle, giving a good impression of the whole area and the way the ruins are nestled on the mountain top.
