Summer 2007 - I was scheduled to go onto Machu Picchu but doctors said I'd better let it drop
Summer 2011 - Doctors had no longer anything to complain....and the dream became reality

What happened in 2007 that you couldn't go? healthy problems for such a young man?? But luckily in 2011 all was OK. Yes, it was also my dream to sea machu Picchu for maybe 30 years, i had not hope to fulfill it when i lived in communist Poland, but this dream became the reality. So I understand your feeling very well. The town in clouds, one ot the most beautiful views in the world.. beuaitufl composition, pity the clouds were so low, but it is a mystery in the photo.

Hi Silvio,

Though it is not a sunny day, but the cloud ir high and the whole Machu Micchu is in clear view so, that is about as good as it could be for most people. At least you see the whole landscape. I was here and it was clear in the morning but started raining and the cloud move it. Those who came later that day didnt' see it.

Machu Picchu ist von mir auch ein Kindheitstraum, ich glaube, ich habe mit 12 Jahren das erstmals etwas davon gelesen, ich gratuliere dir dazu. Machu Picchu wurde ja mehrmals entdeckt. Dein Foto ist perfekt!

Non è male la vista classica, pensa che io da qua' non ho visto una mazza, nuvole basse e pioggia, e ha piovuto quasi tutto il giorno ma sono stato dentro dall'inizio alla fine, che posto incredibile!
Quindi giro Bolivia Perù ad agosto e Patagonia a fine anno, capito...però ti sei trattato bene èh, vedo poi che il sudamerica ti ha accalappiato!

I remember this sight when I first laid eyes upon Machu Picchu, and it was quite awesome. you show it well here with your wide angle, giving a good impression of the whole area and the way the ruins are nestled on the mountain top.
