Photographer’s Note

Si visitas Machu Pichu, y tus condiciones físicas te permiten hacerlo, no dudes en escalar el Wayna-Pichu: El el pico que está justo enfrente de la ciudad y que puedes ver en el 90% de las fotos del lugar.
No soy deportista, así que mis condiciones físicas son normales, en estas condiciones la ascensión me llevó 45 minutos pero mereció la pena ¿por qué? Mejor no te lo explico, lo que ves en la foto es sólo una pequeña porción del panorama. ¿Os imagináis viviendo aquí arriba? Espero que esta foto os dé la ocasión para adivinarlo. Gracias.

PD: Olvidé decir una cosa. Quién tenga problemas de vértigo debería pensárselo dos veces antes de iniciar al subida. Imaginaos por qué lo digo.

If you go to Machu Pichu and if your physical conditions allow you to do it, do not hesitate to climb the Wayna-Pichu: Is the peak just in front of the town, the one you can see in 90% of the pictures of the place.
I´m not a sport person, so my physical shape is in the regular average, in this conditions the climbing took me around 45 minutes but it was more than worthy. Why? I better tell you nothing, what you see here in the picture is just a bit of the all view. Do you imagine yourself living up here? I hope this picture gives you the chance to figure it out.

PS: I forget to tell one thing: If you have problems of vertigo, you should think over twice before start up the climbing. Imagine why.

¿mereció la pena? claro que sí, La vista desde arriba es mucho mejor, y el paisaje alrededor.

interesting photo but tech quality would be better
-there is wrong exposure. picture is quite dark
-try to sharpen it after scale down
-frame will be nice

Si que mereció la pena el esfuerzo. La toma es impresionante y podemos apreciar la ciudad en toda su extensión lo que es muy interesante. Sin embargo, la exposición es mejorable. He hecho un WS. Espero que te guste.

PS: Bueno. Mientras yo preparaba el WS, Milan (milda) se ha adelantado. Creo que el suyo es mejor.

Machu Pichu desde el punto de vista que nunca se muestra. Perfecto.
Aunque un poco oscura, desde mi punto de vista, quizas las condiciones metereológicas de aquel día no lo permitían.

Hola Miguel,
My atenttion was captured, by this shot in the frontpage. Actually it was the ws of Milan, wich is quite impressive, as well as the one from Clemente - how lucky of you! - the improvments are spectacular.

Anyway, you remembered me of one of the most exciting day of my life, when I was running upstairs to get to the top of Wayna-Pichu. You are right - this view is just a bit of the astonishing sights we can get from there. I loved the inca trail but this was the cherry on the top of it! And you are right about the vertigo - my wife have it and couldn't do it - but it's those places that excites me more...
Your shot is very well composed and gives us an impressive view from this fantastic place, although a bit too much touristic. And it is also an original one from the usual views.
It's a pitty my shots from Peru aren't in good conditions...
Well done and thanks a lot for sharing it, although it has almost one year...

Vertigo you ? hé hé hé.
J'ai déjà vu sur TE beaucoup de photos de Machu Pichu, et à chaque fois, je me dis " il faudrait que j'y aille un jour..."
la vue est vertigineuse, la photo un peu sombre, mais j'aime bien. le dépaysement est garanti et me laisse rêveur.
j'ai regardé à nouveau avec plaisir le chant de la baleine que tu as mis dans le lien du volcan.
