Photographer’s Note
Two porters take a break on the Inca Trail. You can't help but be amazed at their strength, endurance and attitude.
Just a snapshot in time. A moment from their lives.

A very nice study tom.
I see that they are tired but no resentment, looks like a very competent and professional lot.
I like your use of DOF to centralise on the porter and their seat.
Good Shot!

I like this picture because it shows how hard these two men's life msut be: their rugged features, their poor sandals which no-one would accept to wear but to go to the beach whereas they have to wear them to carry heavy loads.
I think BW was a good choice for this photo. Maybe the first man's face could have been a little sharper, but I'm not quite sure.

A great double portrait in snapshot style. The B&W was a good choice and well done. The slant they are sitting on makes a fine diagonal. Maybe the DOF is just a little to short to cover them both.

Hi Tom,
a great capture!
It's a true piece of photo realism.
I could be published in any Danish newspaper with the right story.
I can only concur to the things said above.
