Sleeping over clouds
A picture from Day 2 of the Inca Trail. We reached the camp at Pacamayo in the evening at 5:30pm. Day 2 being the toughest day, we were both excited and almost dead logs. Excited that we had overcome the most difficult part of the journey; and dead due to the limits to which our bodies were pushed.
After landing at Pacamayo, the views were so refreshing, especially this one. Sleeping in a valley, and the clouds far below us. Is this heaven?
Soon we could feel the clouds closing in on us. By the time we were done with dinner, we had companions in our camps...the cold clouds, and it was so chilly ;)

Hi Nivas
Love the view you show us here..the tents provide an excellent FG to the valley & the clouds deep down. Good light to capture this impressive place.

This photo would have been so much cooler if you had walked a few steps back, lowered the camera a bit to be able to take in the bottom of the front tent, cause the shiny, silvery colour of the tents contrasting the valley would have looked like an advertisement photo you could have sold for money ;-)
