For a long time the city is deserted, but water always runs among the ruins in the same way that at the time, that is to say since several hundred years.

This fountain belongs to the complex Winay Wayna and is one of those which appear in the corner in top on the right of my yesterday's picture.
Simple seemingly, its construction requires nevertheless much precision since the flow must be regular, just rather extremely to take off of the stone wall but not too much not to make overflow the basin.
This one, of an astonishing symmetry since cut to the hand, comprises a tunnel of evacuation dug to the stone slab and brings water to the following, identical basin.
The whole is repeated ten times with the same precision. (to be followed)

Depuis longtemps la ville est désertée, mais l'eau coule toujours parmi les ruines de la même manière qu'à l'époque, soit depuis plusieurs centaines d'années.

Cette fontaine appartient au complexe Winay Wayna et est l'une de celles qui apparaissent dans le coin en haut à droite de ma photo d'hier.
Simple en apparence, sa construction exige néanmoins beaucoup de précision puisque le débit doit être régulier, tout juste assez fort pour décoller de la paroie de pierre mais pas trop pour ne pas faire déborder le bassin.
Celui-ci, d'une symétrie étonnante puisque taillé à la main, comporte un tunnel d'évacuation creusé à même la dalle de pierre et amène l'eau au bassin suivant, identique.
Le tout est répété dix fois avec la même précision. (à suivre)
