Photographer’s Note
As one approaches Machu Picchu, we meet increasingly important groupings of ruins. Very elegant Winay Wayna (city of the Eternal Youth) today is still supplied out of running water by its original system of drains. (to be followed)

I loved your picture... I still didn't have the chance of visiting Machu Picchu, and your picture just increases my plans to set up a trip. How about the weather temperature up there?

A very interesting and mysterious place Frederic - you have done a good job with this capture to show us the way this amazing architectural engineering looks. I like the touch of the waterfall in the background. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent picture. Were the ruins well preserved? I like the overall light-green colour of the many, many plants here, and the running water shows they have plenty of it. The deffinition of this photo is very good as compared to some others of this series. Like a post-card of Cusco.

Lovely balance beween the three main elements here; the light green of the terraces, the pale buildings and the dark forest green backdrop. One almost wonders who people can make a living on a steep slope like this and teh answer is right there; water!
Nice shot.

Nice view! The terrace and ruins are impressive, and their colors and textures work out great with the leaves in the background. Nice composition and POV. The presence of the waterfall in the back came as a surprise.

Bonjour Frederic !
J'aime beaucoup la couleur de ta photo et la composition avec cette géométrie créée par l'homme au milieu de cette nature luxuriante.
cordialement,
Matthieu
