Photographer’s Note
This young boy was one of our so called cowboys who looked after the horses that carried our equipment while we walked the trail. This young boy was only ten and walked through freezing rivers and snow in just sandals and a sweatshirt. I suppose starting so young one day he will be a guide and earn a considerable wage when compared to his peers. He really is just a boy but doing the work of a man and I respect him and wish him all the best for the future.

Hi John,
Nice image from Peru. The fog complements well the foam of the water. The boy and horse, together with your note and title, make for an interesting subject. I would have liked to see more of a focus on the boy's face and on the boy and horse. Nice shot,
