Très sympa cette photo aux dominantes de bleu. Avec juste une pointe de rouge. Belle perspective également.

The Velvia saturated colours make this a very striking image, Morris, and the lighting is dramatic. I like the contrast of the blue and red colours against the stone colours, and how this is complemented by the blue and red tones in the sky. The image seems to lack a little sharpness for ISO50, but I guess that is because of the scanning. Cheers . . . David

I do not know how realistic value of these colours, but this looks very good. Perfect perspective. Nice composition.
The only drawback is sharpness, that could be slightly better, but I guess this is scanned from film or paper ?

Very nice composition and shot. One can feel the effort of these women, climbing this street. I like the blue tonality and the contrast with the red clothes of this woman at right. I think is a great shot, it communicates an emotion, Thanks,

Good composition with very unusual colours. dominant Blue/gray hue of background makes excelent frame for colours of womens dresses. I usually don't like when photo has a dominant hue but in your photo that works very good.
adamasao1 (466) 2006-10-22 22:38
Thanks for this photo. Can't wait to go there next year! I agree with the comment about the dominant hue. When i do that with mine it looks like a busted TV set, but it works well with the old buildings.

Very well seen. I like the POV, the composition you chose and the opposition in colours. Bravo,

Great use of the saturation of colours and taken from a good POV. This photo lets a dark atmosphere come through which makes it all the more interesting. Happy new year!

Beautiful composition here. Nice DEP and POV. Interesting architecture details.

How much more dramatic can it be then to see the two women in blue and red dresses, respectively, trudging up the hill in Cusco. There is also a dramatic illustration of one-point perspective, with all the "parallel lines" appearing to converge on the horizon line. Excellent composition and exposure,

Tiens, je l'avais manquée celle ci. Fort bien composée !

Oh my gosh. I love this pic. The subdued colours of grey and blue is a superb contrast to the sudden shocking red the lady on the right is wearing. This will definitely be on of my favourite photos.
loneroc (1233) 2008-05-28 12:49
What a great atmosphere! You've captured the spirit of Cusco (and Peru) very well.
I still miss those days when I was shooting with Velvia 50. Great colours - and having strong red & blue here works miracles!
One thing that I really like as well is those two silhouettes on top.
Good job, indeed!

It seems you post proceed in order to have only 3 colors.
Well taken and remasterised
