Photographer's Note

This is a view from Cuzco taken from the Plaza de Armas which is the central square of this beautiful city.
Cuzco is located in the Valley of the River Urubamba, the Sacred Valley as it is named by the indigenous population, on the bottom of the Andes, maybe one of the most spectacular mountains in the world.
I wanted to post this picture to show to Danos that there are many trees around the center and in the outskirts of the city and many more flowers, not showing here but maybe I will post another picture from the downtown area.
A very attractive city, very cultural, very traditional, with great architectural elements from the Baroque and Colonial style of architecture.
The open markets with handmade souvenirs, the music concerts, the colorful fresh produce markets, the extraordinary haute cuisine and the hospitality are a few of the many qualities of the Cuzco that is definitely worth visiting.
The surroundings are as interesting as the city itself, where a great history of 3,000 years lays here in this very distinctive place founded by King Pachacutec.
The Imperial City of the Incas has preserved its religion, its structure and its unique quality and continues to fascinate every visitor.
