Series on my Trip to PERU - South America - THE PUTUKUSI MOUNTAIN as it's seen from MACHU PICCHU - From September 6th to 22nd, 2007 - # 016 !
MONTAÑA PUTUKUSI IV - MONTANHA PUTUKUSI IV - PUTUKUSI MOUNTAIN IV - MONTAGNE PUTUKUSI IV - MONTAGNA PUTUKUSI IV - From the MACHU PICCHU RUINS, one can see that mountain (I had climbed the day before), framed by the stones of the INCA LOST CITY and surrounded by other no less impressive towering mountains! I could stay there for hours, just enjoying the view! So much to see, so much to feel! Avoid looking at the tourists (Good Gracious, there weren't that many that day!) who would destroy the sensation of being at ancient times at that magical place - all by myself! Magical because Nature itself is magical! No sounds or the sounds of nature - the wind blowing, some animal moving, some birds singing!
WS VERSION: Brighter and with a bit more of warmer colors.

Hi Neyvan, I was aslo so impressed by this mountain that I have it on many photos. Splendid view of all mountain and some ruins of machu Picchu. Fantastic depth, good colours. I still do not know how you climbed such a steep Putukusi. I do not see any path, would think it is impossible.

Bela foto!
Abraço,
Zeca

Neyvan, this is exactly the kind of shot I love in your gallery, one that shows what it looks like to be be there. The down slope view gives it scale and drama that is always lacking from the far wide shots. Great work.

Hi Neyvan,
I can believe that you were hidden this beautiful image for 1.5 year before you posted on TE. It is a gorgeous shot especially for people like me who love mountains. I know a little bit about Andes range which pass all South America from north to south. Machu Picchu is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
I love your composition which includes part of Inca's Lost City and a beautiful Andes in the background. Do the mountains look bluish like you showed it or did you play with colors. It is splendid depth and sharpness.
Great job Neyvan!
Best regards,
Zbigniew
