Photographer’s Note
Monasterio de Santa Catalina is one of the most fascinating examples of colonial sacral architecture in Peru. Build in 1580 and enlarged in XVII c. looks like a separate town with it's own streets and houses.
Nuns living in the monastery were completly secluded until 1970 when the monastery was opened to the visitors.

Hello Maciej,
Simple, really simple and beautiful. The frames in front of the window give a nice pattern and one can wonder about the freedom one has in such a monastry. Well, a freedom on the religious side perhaps. Nice work.
Greetings,
Dennis
