Picture taken at an altitude of about 4900m from a viewpoint labelled "Mirador de Los Andes Tramo de la Cordillera Volcanica en Los Andes Centrales". One example of the other-worldly landscape on view during the drive from Arequipa through the Andes enroute to Chivay. We were on the first morning of a three-day Colca Canyon tour/hike.
