Photographer’s Note

En épocas de sequía (invierno), los caudalosos ríos amazónicos se van secando por la falta de lluvia. En este tiempo, aparecen grandes y hermosas playas de fina arena donde las tortugas del río salen a depositar sus huevos.

En el atardecer, los rayos del sol, sosegados por el horizonte, descansan sobre la arena en el río Yurua.

Hola Yuri,
Looks like a beautiful place. I love the pattern in the sand and the evening light creates a nice, warm glow. A good compo that leaves an important space to the sand, with the trees in the background.

Uno diria una playa, me parece muy buena la idea de maximizar la arena y sus disenos en la foto, la selva en el fondo le da un buen contraste.

Acabas de estar en antartica?

Hola Yuri, I love the low light over the horizon which gives nice shadows to the sand. ALso, I like the POV, with 2/3 of the space occupied by the sand, with the river in the very background
