Photographer's Note

Sometimes they ask me:
Why the people ?
Why not the nature shots… The buildings… The ‘things’ ???

And I really don’t know what to say…

Embarrassing – isn’t it ?

Sometimes I mumble under my nose:
Because I can’t shake my hand with the building…
Because I can’t share the hot soup even with the most magnificent mountain range… I can’t exchange the glances, put my arm around the shoulder, place gentle kiss on a cheek, or burst into laughing with the cloud over the meadow…

And there is one more (really embarrassing) thing
I don’t remember the model number of my camera and those funny digits on the lens…

But… I remember the name of that guy in front of me…
His name is Antonio.
And he is a working man, who will bring the money for his family at the end of the day …

BTW: Knowing the people you stand in front of - it's a much more important factor (IMHO) for a photographer than 10-point Matrix AE-L system, combined with side AF-D measure module !!!
