Photos

Another photo taken through the window of a truck on a very bumpy road, but which turned out all right. I am not sure exactly what this place is, nor am I sure of exactly where we are here. This is on the road from Trujillo to Huamachuco, and definitely closer to Huamachuco, so I will label it as that. As for the image, it looks like a church on the left, and a few other buildings (I don't remember there being any more), with a gallardeta, or pennant, flying, perhaps for some local festival. I am not sure, but the place seems like an old hacienda (which were large land holdings, ranches, essentially, owned by one person, who might have essentially a village around their house just for the purposes of housing the people who worked the land).

No se por seguro que es esto, o donde estan quando yo hace esto foto, pero es probablamente muy cerca de Huamachuco, en la carretera dentro Trujillo y Huamachuco. Este foto fue hace dentro en una camioneta, y la carretera fue muy tosca, pero es todovia una buena fotografia. Yo creo este fue una hacienda viejo...
