Forgotten where I was when I took this photo. The colour changes through the day were amazing. Her I used a polariser and maybe I did not or should not of used it.

Yes, you probably didn't need the polarizer at that altitude. High-contrast scenery shows the majesty of the peaks well. Reminded me of Joe Simpson's Touching the Void. Regards,

Superb shot, very striking. It's a shame compression causes blocking in the sky, but the hills look tremendous

You excellent shew beauty of this monumental mountain. Invoice on snow, shadows, contrasts, all is great! Almost black sky adds dangerous atmosphere, I like it.

Hi Simon - I guess the polariser kept the exposure on the snow under control but the sky went a bit dark, actually the whole thing looks B&W on my monitor, majestic mountain scenery though, for a 20 year old scan the quality is superb.

The grandiosity of this snowed peak is breath taking and your pov makes justice to it.
It's hard to believe that you didn't use any B&W conversion here.
Indeed an impressive and achieve photo!
