Photographer’s Note
Just another not so good photo of Artesonraju from the valley I walked up and the valley of the biting horse flies. Odd thing was there were no horses or any other animal. I wonder if thats why the little beggars all had a bite of me.
As you can see the angle is not so bad when viewed from this view point and the route definately does NOT go under the bloody great big seracs near the top of the mountain, far to dangerous.

Hello Simon,
The snow falling off the peak is the breathtaking detail of this magic photo. Wonderful light management also, and i like the dark, contrasting left corner a lot. The clouds next to the peak add a lot to the heavenly effect. Cheers,

Hi Simon,
This one is much more impressive than the other, and I am not saying this just because of its pretty colours. IMO, somehow those lines of the fg enhance the peak on the bg and make the photo very punchy. Great sharpness and clarity in any situation, something amazing for a scan of an old film.
