Mirror mirror mirror, who is the beautiful of them all.

A two week trek into the Huayhuash in Peru, this was the last section of walking a curcuit around the mountain range.
If I remember rightly it was here that a group of dogs ran nearly a mile barking and woofing up to us, both me and Mike thought we might end up been bitten BUT being a dab hand at throwing stones at wildish dogs I land one squarely on its head. They all turned round and belted back for home, quite a relief actually.

Wonderful landscape shot with a nice reflection. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. You have captured nice sharp contrasts here between the levels of the photo.

A superb reflection shot Simon, with just enough disturbance in the water but not too much to disturb the shape of the reflected mountains.
I think cropping a bit off the top so that there was an equal amount of sky above the mountains and in their reflection would have worked well.
An excellent shot, well done.

Hi Simon,

awsome landscape. Just a thought, but the picture could bare a bit more contrast. It might provide more freshness and better enhance the "island" of grass.

That said, very good compo.

une très belle composition ici, le reflet est net et précis. Le format panoramique va bien au sujet. Un petit travail sur le voile de l'image serait un plus je pense.
