Photographer’s Note
Jason (an American) and Vincente stand next to a field near Vincente's home, a nearby mountain behind them. It would have been nice if I could have had them looking to their left rather than straight into the camera, but I hadn't been taking pictures for very long when this one was taken and didn't think to have them look away. I thought it was a presentable picture nonetheless. Taken about 10-15 miles (15-25 km) northeast of Cajamarca.
