Photographer’s Note
Small walk in the Hauyhuash, actually quite a long one and some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen. Whats more when we were there, there was hardly anyone about barring the locals. There are or wwere loads of rainbow trout too

Hi Simon!
Lovely mountain scenery!
I like the way the river is leading my eye up to the summit.
Nice colors and the original dias must have been fantastic.

A classic mountain landscape photo, and it works very well. The stream works superbly as a lead-in, taking the eye straight towards that majestic mountain.
The bright highlights look ever so slightly burnt out, but I reckon that's more due to the scan than the original transparency.
I like it Simon, good stuff.
Cheers,
Ben

You are right, Simon. This is a stunning view. The vertical frame is ideal including the small waterfall and the snow-covered mountain in the depth. Wonderful scanned picture with natural colours and fine details.
Thank you very much for sharing.
Warm regards,
Athanasios.
