Photographer’s Note
The road between Chimbote and Huaraz is fantastic, dangerous and savage. I spent around 9 hours to arrive. There were some hens in the top of the "savage" bus. I don´t know how they arrived safe. After we have crossed the desert near seashore we goes in the middle of the Andes mountains and there are few green places and few houses to see. It was noon when our driver decided to stop in a very little village, at banks of Santa River. I didn´t like the "restaurant" and decided to eat the luch I had bought in Chimbote, after some minutes I walked few meters ahead and found a stream that reach Santa river, mountains around are so high and goes up so fast we can understand how they stay up after earthquakes. Santa river finds its space in these very, very, very narrows valleys. I was feeling very little, surrounded by that giant walls.
