Photographer’s Note
The first proper view you get of the Huayhuash range on the trek that goes around them. This is one of the best treks I have ever done, not only for the amazing scenary but also for the friendliness of our guide and donkeymen and the lack of other trekkers.

one word: FANTASTIC! I love the colour combinations and the enormous depth created. This is that kind of picture you can keep watching. Good framing; it emphasizes the colours in the image. I must say that the picture quality is very good, being a scan.

I really like the subdued colors and the contrast between the darker and lighter mountain peaks. The way you have placed the snow-capped peaks in the upper right corner helps to feel like the eye is "led" there along the path. Well done.

Hi David
Superbe image, le premier plan obscur contraste a merveille avec ces pics enneigés.
Very nice shot

Very high contrasts make this landscape very dramatique, a lot of depht with the enlightened snowy mountains at the horizont, good colors of scan.
