In Asuncion, across Paraguay River there are still some origunal indian people living in their own territory, they earn their living mainly from tourism, you can visit their place but must paid for photos
Also they wave colorful textiles ( same as all over South and Central America ), carved wooden masks and souvenirs
I found this woman at the very City Center of Asuncion, without asking ( onother one has refused) I took the photo, she noticed me and adopted a dignified and proud position

lovely street scene. In this case it is not just a seller but she is a local person and selling local souvenirs which makes it typical for the place. Very well spotted and with some interesting architecture in the back.
Very well done!
Do you like Paraguay more than Uruguay?

Bel ritratto, ben ambientato.

Nice angle chosen with the white edifice on the BG, enhanced the colorful display of the Indian women street vendor.
She look proudly strait to the camera, face expression show content, and many items immaculately placed in order.
Fine photo, well collected street scene.

Ciao e buona omenica

She seems to have dressed in her best outfit to attract customers. I have just read that little is left of the original Guaraní culture except for the language. Maybe some handicraft is still done according to traditions (or maybe it is mass produced for the entire Latin American market). It is a good photo in any case with great clarity and fine colours. The woman looks quite comfortable in front of your camera.

She does look so dignified, so I guess she was pleased to have her photo taken. And a treat for us that she was, as its created a very beautiful image. Not only the lady herself, but the huge array of things she has for sale with so many different colors. The woman herself is a bright burst of color and a perfect focal point, perfectly composed slightly off centre.
Thanks as always

Good capture of a typical local scene, a colorful street vendor plying the trade and a lovely little insight into the local life. A fabulous image which really brings this sight place to life and effective in illustrating her daily working activities. The cheery array of colors are really attractive, a lovely capture with a treatment that gives just the right atmosphere. Great work, Congrats

La manière de s'assoir suggère déjà l'exotisme; puis le costume traditionnel porté avec fierté de même que les marchandises colorées offertes confirment cette ambiance ancestrale.
Une dame de coeur qui sait rendre hommage à ses aieux!

Buenas noches Miss Maria,
This is great, I love the spontaneous nature of this shot based on your note. That split second it took here to proudly give her attention to your camera really shines through as authentic. Such a bright and colorful display of products she has to sell, so many more interesting things to look over. This is quite telling too, as she is not standing in a traditional market, but rather humbly on the street. It really feels genuine, you've taken care and respect to provide us with this image. Hope you purchased something useful. :) Disfrutar de la nueva semana. Ciao.
More Paris pictures coming soon. ;D

Buen trabajo. Me encanta.
Pasa un buen fin de semana.
Saludos muy cordiales.

Beautiful photo. Funny how some people looks a certain way. She is to me very recognizable as a Guarani tribe :) I had the pleasure of being in their homeland in Ecaudor many years ago. I posted a couple picture of them, one of them is a woman that looks almost like this one :) So they also made all the way into the city. It took me 3 days to go to their village. I should have just go to Paraguay :)
Lovely photo, a combination of daily life and portrait.

A greater view of the indian woman and her goods for street sale and close enough to savor the briliant details and excellently focused for maximum sharpness. The layout is fine this way abound of interest with nice goods giving the extra details for a more pleasing combination. I am attracted by the excellent diagonal arrangement and the colourful woman's dress which breaks up the appearance nicely as main focal point. Indeed a nice capture. Well done my friend.
Wish you a very nice Sunday.

hi maria. well, i like paying those colorful people, wherever they are, for a nice photo. i think they deserve it :)
and she glows with her red colors among the surrounding silvery tones. lots of rich details to observe, and probably a rare photo from paraguay.

Long time ago I've been one afternoon in Paraguay, in Ciudad del Este. I was on a holiday in Brazil and crossed the border in Foz do Iguaçu.
This picture reminds me at my very short time in Paraguay. In Ciudad del Este there were many indigenous people selling lots of different stuff in the streets. I didn't see indigenous people in Foz do Iguaçu or in Puerto Iguazú in your country.
The picture is very colourful and the woman looks proudly into the camera.
Best regards, Paul

Hola querida Maria,
I like very much how the lady responded to your attention and camera, assuming a proud and straightforward pose. She is very well placed within your interesting composition that has an attractive perspective and makes a strong association between the lady and her neat and lovely display of jewellery and accessories. The colours she's wearing stand out superbly in a setting of subdued tones and the red border you've added enhances the vividness of this tranquil scene. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
