Transport in Paraguay
After the driver playing damas (checkers) I want to show a bus (the green hanging poster said “Traveling” ), behind it, a van for special trips, a car and the most commun, a man walking, no running trains nowaday
Areguá was founded by Governor Saturnino Martínez de Irala between 1537 and 1540.
Capital of the Central Department, city of ceramic handicrafts and hand made lace called ñanduty, It lies 28 km from the Asuncion
Tips for turist
A typical village so near Asuncion deserving being visited, not only to buy good crafts, but to enjoy the lush greenery of its central promenade, being this a lateral street, watching the old houses (which fences and walls can be seen at the sides), next to the fantastic romantic cobbled hexagonal stones, obtained from the sorrounding hills

Ciao e buona serata

Hola querida Maria,
even though the bus looks old and much used, it's so colourful and attractive and surely delightful to see around town. I like the perspective into this street and the very vivid contrasting colours. The sunshine is so lovely and reassuring and from the details in your picture and note I'm sure I'd love this place. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Interesante.

Beep beep! Is this a bus or an ice cream vendor? :) That sure is a colorful vehicle, were it not for the words across the front I might have mistaken it for a fire truck!? Quite a variety of transportation modes, the poor guy walking at the back is going to be smoking on tailpipes though if he doesn't pick up the pace. jaja
I like this, another slice of the daily life aspect that portrays the locale and its people. The composition is bolstered nicely on each side of the frame with the converging fence lines, creating a good perspective and pulling attention towards the main subject. A lot of blue sky, but it pairs nicely with the red and yellow colors. Have a great day ahead.
Friendly wishes from the Northern Hemisphere,

A nice suburban view with fine light and colours. The old-fashioned red bus really brightens the view and it is nicely surrounded by trees. I get the impression of a pleasant and rather sleepy town some distance from the noisy capital.

Excellent arrangement. The bus is a very good focal point of this nice photo. Your viewpoint is superb, it is mice to see a part of second bus, this give the photo nice 3-D feel. The light and colors are superb.
p.s. I did't buy any souvenirs in airport shop, both some in the town.

Such an array of modes of transport, this could almost be a parade :) When I seen your title, my first thought was of the Big Red Funbus, a popular toy when I was a child. I like the bus itself, it looks quite North American. Would these vehicles be imported I wonder or made locally to a similar design?
Great depth as we look through the many modes of movement here :)
All the best

Painted red, Maria, becouse the country is mostly green, just for good contrast - and you very well shown this.
Rural town, in a fine photo about. DOF and clarity are outstanding.

Hola querida Maria,
A brilliant warm cold colour contrast between the old red bus and the blue blue sky. The dual sides of the road add superb lead in lines as well as diminishing linear perspective and vanishing point. The man at right in the shadows adds scale. Tfs!

Just like the buses we have in the Philippines, brightly painted and ornately decorated. Nicely captured with good details. Well done, tfs.

This is just lovely. I love photos of vehicles and this red bus followed by a yellow/white one just made my day. It reminds me of buses I used to see in rural areas during my childhood in Turkey. This is a precious photo for me, TFS!

A slice of Paraguayan colours!! A happy take of a street scene where the classic looking bus steals the show really well. I love the perspective and depth taken in such brilliant weather and there's a stunning contrast to blue sky. A stunner well grabbed timely, Very well done. tfs

Excellent daily life image and show the way of transportation. I used to ride in one of these big and old buses going places, still did the last time I was back in Laos. Also the last day I left my hometown when I was little I sat in the back and looking at my village getting smaller with tear in my eyes not knowing if I was able to return one day.
Love this blue sky and the red bus contrast beautifully.
