Produced by a cart pulled by oxen and followed by a cow and her calf in a red dusty road
After lunch they are going to work at a field with their working tools (cart and oxen) and their most appreciated belonging, a caw for milk and a calf to sell in the next future
The “driver” has a hat made of straw, very common between people working at the fields, it protect them from the sun as well as the dust
They continue the very old tradition of going to work carrying caws and half, leaving them in a good grass to assure them a good nourishment, for instance at the sides of the routes
Scene repeated all along the interior of Paraguay, as well as the presence of electrical wires

It is kind of strange how rural places look similar. This place so closely resembles by ancestral village in rural Bengal which is half way around the globe. The red soil, the bullock cart, the trees all around and these village folks are all so alike. Very good daily life shot of these peasants who are returning to work after a short period of rest. Good POV and composition. I simply love it. Very well taken and presented. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent snapshot. I like the view from the back. Excellent exposing for the sky made a good silhouette of the carriage. The red soil color is almost same as in many African countries.
You can see one example on my WEB, photos from Tanzania.

The dual sides of the road add good lead in lines and linear perspective. Excellent sharpness and the cattle horses and man animate the scene. Well composed using the rule of thirds. This could be mistaken for rural Australia. Nice warm cold color contrasts between the red and blue. Tfs!

nice the view of this rural place with the reddish dusty road with the farmer to escort his animals.A very original and unique scene that in town we have never seen.

Rural country mean of transportation, Maria.
The picture is so clear - that you managed to show the red-dust arise from the fertile soil.
But, i can only imagine what would be the situation is a rain down-pour and the sand becomes mud...
Fine shot out in the country.
Happy Khanukkah my dear,

this is a very classic scene, and one that reminds me one I seen in National Geographic many years ago. A fine quality shot showing a way of life not known or understood by many people, but so important to those who do know it. The red dust makes a very attractive element in this image. Really nicely done.
thanks as always

The light was difficult, leaving the man and his cattle mainly in the shade, but it is still a nice picture of a traditional way of life still common in the undeveloped countryside of Paragay. That country doesn't receive so many tourists, I believe, making it seldom seen on TE, so I welcome any contribution.

This shot reminds me of my village old folks some 4 decades ago in Malacca-Malaysia and resemblance of 'jalan tengah' or dirt tracked and my late grandma would herd the water buffalos back home with slow moving cart from paddy fields at the end of the day, whilst we kids watching from the verandah of our grandma's traditional house. Notice the almost similar style of bullock cart here and the green tranquil surrounding. Very nostalgic image to me, Now everything is gone even the traditional village houses are rarely seen nowadays in the name of modernity...
Great capture, Luv it :))

This scene reminds me of my younger days in my old country, the Philippines. It's sad that even today this type of living still exists. Good pov and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

Ciao e buona serata

Hola querida Maria,
this is a well balanced and direct composition that not only shows us this quiet rustic scene but also places us on the dirt road with the sense that we are following it behind the cart. We have all the time to observe the scene and the scenery. The light angle wasn't convenient but you handled it in a way that has given a special character to the picture. The cart, the animals and the people look like 3D silhouettes. Colours and textures have retained a good quality, despite the challenging lighting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

The trees are framing well the road. The length of the road is ging depth to the composition. You have capture well the action of the man moving on the road with his cart pulled by oxen. Have a nice day.

Hola mi amiga del Sur,
Something I'm all too familiar with, the red dirt anyway...not pulling a cart! :)
Love this every day scene, this is true life...not what the tourist book shows. I find these types of images quite interesting, and they have a more personal connection with the photographer and people involved.
A lonely dirt road filled with the locals routinely going about their daily business, and even shown walking in the opposite direction there's a certain understated attraction to the scene.
A very nice observation and smart idea to snap the shot. Bright, well balanced and full of detail...and the tri-color pallett of orange/green/blue works just right. Now get to work! :)
Have a great day ahead. Friendly wishes,

Buen trabajo. Me gusta
Disfruta de un buen dia.
Saludos muy cordiales.

Une scène de la vie rurale bien prise avec un bon effet du zoom et de la perspective, belle luminosité qui donne une jolie teinte au chemin de terre.

I usually associate this kind of scenery to be more in smaller town in Asia. cows carrying a cart like this. I guess it is very universal. I can imaging you following them catching all the dust :)
It is a very down to earth scene showing way of life in smaller villages. I was at the boarder but never did cross over to Paraguay.

Buena escena de la vida diária rural en Paraguay. me gusta esta atmósferaa de simplicidad y paz. la tierra es mezclada con arena y no tan roja como la de mi región. estas carrozas ya son raras en las áreas rurales de brazil.
