Photographer’s Note

This old train was a part of a nation wide system of trains that have fallen into complete disrepair. While there is a movement to restore the system, it is sad to see the state that many of them are in at the moment.

Hi Matthew,I like the idea of the train head on,the fact that no rails are visible does lessen the impact.The inclusion of the shed and the goods wagon give a feeling of a station.The colour of weathered metal is well set off with the surrounding greenery.I did ride in a stream train in Asuncion in the 80s.Thanks Tom.
