You had a good eye to see the potential in this pier. Few pier shots have anything of interest at the end of the pier other than water to the horizon. This photo, however, has two points of interest: the large pilings at the end of the pier, and hills of the island or far side of the lake keep the viewer's eye from leaving. Once you come back around in this photo, you see the interesting weeds growing up between the boards of the pier. Overall outstanding photo!
