Althought they looked like a huge army, sun soldiers formed in a raw; these sunflowers offered a nice view, impossible to resist.

I am glad I can still find beauty in small things. It is a very good feeling. Very rewarding.

Going to the countryside is so nice!
Sorry if I did not respond your mails, I was away.

Levels adjustment, USM, white frame, downsizing to TE standards.
Light was very low at that time, near to sunset.
Hope you enjoy TErs. Have a nice day!

I reposted this, cause after getting home I realized I went too far with levels adj., some artifacts were seen at the image. I have a better flat screen at home, so I guess this time, it should be better.
Sometimes this can be tricky.

U will get full marks regarding the composition and colour balance of the pic. The title is also interesting enough.
Well done.

Hi, Cesar,
The composition and the colors are really wonderful!
But the blur looks unnaturally.
Regards,
Sergey

The blur does look unnatural but I really like it. The focus on the center of the sunflower is very unusual. Nice shot!

Hi Cesar,

I like this reposting of the sunflower. Especially your daring choice in having most of the photo out of focus in the DOF. It does make for an interesting shot.

Cheers Cesar.

(P.S.- Not sure if you received my e-mail rearding the TE book. I haven't received the questionaire that was sent out. please let me know if there is anything I need to do, or any way I can help.)

Hi Cesar,
A superb macro shot of these sunflowers. Your photo is quite original, and very artistically portrayed and framed. I like the subtle shadows and the POV. Its amazing how the sharpness level on the particular monitor can vary. This seems just about right. Well seen, Cesar.

Hi Cesar - wonderful painting - perfect colors and DOF -
Great, great
Well done
Thanks
Gaby

There are lots of pictures of sunflowers out there, but you took a very original shot. Its more like a painting than a photo, with the wonderful golden light on the smallest details of the flower. I'm very impressed. Great work!

Stupendous color and bokeh, Cesar. This image SCREAMS ut of the thumbnail. As beautiful as are the cpper grains at the center of the plant on the right, the beautiful rainbow OOF area to the left are just extraordinary.
very nice work,
Francis

Hello Cesar, this is an interesting angle on this sunflower. Great detail in the top corner and artistically blurring out into the yellows and blues. Beautifully rich colours too.

SPlendid..
I love this bokeh.
Bravo!
Alex

This has to be one of the more interesting and thought-provoking flower pictures I've ever seen. Nice bold composition and just the right touch of spot lighting to give it some pop. Excellent job.

very nice shot of this part sunflower, very good details and also great use of the F mode, I like the macro and the blur surrounding it too, well done

Dear Cesar,

I am a beginner in photography and looking at your pictures I've observed something useful for me i.e beauty of details. You photograph pieces of reality like at this picture - a piece of sunflower. I like sunflowers a lot and usually I see pictures of the whole sunflower/-s or the field of sunflowers (what of course is also charming but rather typical). I like the way you choose these pieces of reality (nature, people)not revealing the whole of it. It gives impression of mystery and untold story. I have just discovered that I like it. Regarding this sunflower I like also the position of the sunflower (top right side corner)and the colours. I have a question - do you choose these pieces of reality carefully trying to underline something special about the person/nature/scene or rather accidentally not trying to create anything?
Thank you for teaching me sth through your pictures and for your interesting and sometimes very personal and worthy comments
with greetings and wishes of Wonderful New Year

Ótima fotografia macro. A iluminção está muito boa, dando muita vida as cores, e a composição ficou muito agradável. Parabéns!
