Photographer’s Note
dancing on the streets...
Yes, this happens during carnival fests.
As I promised, a few shots taken recently anticipating these magnificent celebrations.
Here we have a very hard summer. The readings of the thermometers located on the main intersection points at the main avenues showed last week 48º Celsius...hot hot hot!
Carnival is approaching, and like brazilians and argentineans, we like to dance on the streets and celebrate.
I hope these pics can show a little bit the enthusiasm of the people, and also the beauty of our women.
I hope you like this.
I cropped, adjusted levels and run NI to eliminate some noise.

Great composition and colors. I like it how the photo was focused on the face and there is some static and motion bluriness present in the elaborate costume and the motion of the hands. Very well done.

A joyful and vivid photo of the lovely lady, Kike. Her vibrant appearance is well portrayed, and the colorful costume is a marvel to watch. Well done with the cropping, too. Good work, please continue with the series.

Hi Cesar :)
Well! This one is so much hotter than my last one (Winter Silence)! ...With this lovely chick, all my cold snow is going to melt. The green hues of her costume are superbly rendered. I like also the blur effect on her arms, restoring finely the movement. Really, very nice to see, Cesar.

A fine example of those carneval dresses which can been seen this time of year - also a pretty woman (one for the movietitle theme) - the motionblur add action to the fine image - thanks Cesar.

Cesar, you've chosen a very nice angle to shoot this cheerful girl! The soft light and shadows on her face are extremely attractive. I like the movement-blur in almost every part of the picture except for her face. I'm pretty surprised that you got this effect with a shutterspeed of 1/100; she must have been moving quite fast! Great shot.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful woman. Her costume is very rich in details. I'm happy to see a huge amount of greens.
Even though you focused on her face, the arms are blurred enough to reveal the movement and give dynamic to the photo - as well as your low POV.
Excellent work, Cesar!

Perfect POV and colors, maybe a tiny bit too much NI makes textures of skin dissapear but indeed a very joyfull capture.

I’m very glad to see that there’s someone, besides me and Sofia, who haven’t forgot about the Carnival. Our Brazilian colleagues seemed to pass by the event without noticing it… A very nice photo with a great POV. How did you get such a frontal view? Were you in the parade track? Superb colors and a magnificent facial expression.
Also, why didn’t you used a higher iso value to get a higher shutter speed and freeze all the motion?
