Photographer's Note

The photo
I think that is interesting to post a photo of this almost unknown river as is the country
Source: TE comments

At the back of Independence Square , behind Lopez Palace is Paraguay River
Length: 1,629 miles (2,621 km), I took the photo of this old and small militar ship that seems still working, not people, not ships, a quiet place to enjoy the last rays of sun but a dangerous place to stay, or so I was told by three polices that were leaving and refused to give me permision to go down next to the river or try a visit at the ship

Paraguay River

The source and upper course of the Paraguay River are in Brazil, where it demarcates part of the frontier with Paraguay before entering Paraguay itself, which it traverses from north to south. It then forms the frontier between Paraguay and Argentina for the last 150 miles (240 km) of its course before joining the Alto (Upper) Paraná River, the combined river then flowing into Argentina as the lower Paraná River.
