Photographer’s Note
again
what a coincidence
it is nap time, very common habit in hot weathers, The woman yawns while her son can hardly sostain his head with his hand...
the hot temperature and time of the day seem unbearable...
sales are not good, despite the fact that the watermellon pieces seem refreshing
A passenger crossing by.
Ciudad del Este is a crowdy city, high commercial activity and an interstin mix of cultures...

Hi,
Lovely photo, Cesar! Three people doing their own things. I like the watermelons and the pattern on the wall behind the boy. This is a very creative shot, interesting.

nice daily life pic..the people here really seemed bored to death. but i am not sure if it would have been better to avoid the passing boy.

The midday light is harsh but you have managed it really well, love the three in the photo, great colours. The way his arm extends and underlines the two sitting on the bench is fantastic.
I have few nit picks, I would prefer the right side to be croped a bit so I don't see the arm of the person, also the way it is framed at the top, the edge goes right through his eyes, would prefer a bit lower but then we loose the caged window.
Very good shot overall.

Hello, Cesar :)
the core of south america, imo, you captured here.
the harsh light, yes, but also those wonderful colors...
hope to be there in June (~14, 15) with Rinie :)) see you!

se ve como la cuidad que recuerdo. Me gusta la mujer y su hijo los que tienen tutito. Las sandias se ven ricos. Buena composicion y el contraste entre los que tienen sueno y el hombre caminante.

Hi Kike,
Well, the sales may increase if only they cleaned the litter that surrounds them (though, on that heat I wouldn't probably mind the litter just to enjoy a few slices of that inviting watermelon!).
A very interesting dialy life document in which I would be tempted to crop out what appears to be an arm in the upper right corner.
I like the contrast between obviously dead-tired saleswoman (and the young lad sitting next to her) and the one walking pass (that seems not to be affected by the heat at all).
Regards,
Robi

very nice scene Cesar, dynamic composition with that walking kid in the foreground - he is nicely cropped. lazy atmosphere in the background. the light is a bit too harsh, highlights are burned out, but the scene is nice

great photo, Cesar. Lots of action, even those overburnings don't bother me, as they are inevitable in midday, and in this case add context to the photo. I really like the boy in foreground as he adds dynamics to this shot and in fact emphasizes the laziness of background scene and explains it (nobody stops, people walk by etc)

I like it for what it shows and the atmosphere, the persons are interesting, attitudes caught and all is delivered in a great south american athmosphere.
This is a direct catch as in a reportage.
Great
I like it

Hello again :)
It's a harsh light and a harsh life isn't it? they look tired, from the sun but from something else.. maybe they are tired of beeing tired!
Nice photo and note, you show pretty well the diferent cultures of the city
