Photographer’s Note
The traveller is always leaving town
He never has the time to turn around
And if the road he's taken isn't leading anywhere
He seems to be completely unaware
The traveller is always leaving home
The only kind of life he's ever known
When every moment seems to be
A race against the time
There's always one more mountain left to climb
Days are numbers
Watch the stars
We can only see so far
Someday, you'll know where you are
Remember
Days are numbers
Count the stars
We can only go so far
One day, you'll know where you are
The traveller awaits the morning tide
He doesn't know what's on the other side
But something deep inside of him
Keeps telling him to go
He hasn't found a reason to say no
The traveller is only passing through
He cannot understand your point of view
Abandoning reality, unsure of what he'll find
The traveller in me is close behind
Days are numbers
Watch the stars
We can only see so far
Someday, you'll know where you are
Remember
Days are numbers
Count the stars
We can only go so far
One day, you'll know where you are
Lyrics - Alan Parsons Project
------------------------------------------
Yguazu city, farm fields everywhere.
Coming from the horizon power lines carrying energy from Itaipu dam.
A traveller appeared like a ghost from nowhere, only God knows what he might have been thinking and where he was leading to besides him.
I had a feeling of inmense loneliness and determination then.
It made me remember we are all travelers. Whether we know where we are leading or not.

Hi Kike,
This is a very good composition and an excellent PP work. The panoramic frame and the inclusion of the birf at the far corner gives the composition a very inteesting depth and I think that it wouldn't be the same without it.
It's a very good use of desaturation and noise-adding, so much atmosphere in this one. I love it.

hola cesar, what a serious composition - very souly, mysterious, with a deep message; and everything accompanied by a good note;
best wishes, jerzy

Hello Kike. I like the compo a lot here - the panoramic format emphasizes the distance between the person and the bird which are well placed in opposite corners of the frame. In between, the scene with the field and the electrical pylons in the back seems to enhance the lonely mood. I also like your post-work on the contrast and with the noise, all of which blend fine into the overall mood that is generated.

I like the composition and how it is built. And the theme you are developping is interesting, the man in this space and the birds are very well seen and corresponding to this idea of the nowhere man in a nowhere land :)))
Mke me thinks abot the "tramps" unemployed people in the states in the 50', walking and trying to catch trains to reach a better place.
Compliments

I like the compo and the cropping, using the pano very effectful. The grain effect is maybe not my favourite to use, but still it works ok in this one. Good placement of the person also in fine balance with the bird. Nice one.
