Sorry Ters...I just noticed after Norbert`s comments regarding the frame color...I added the frame using GIMP and somehow (at home) when working on my LCD I see it as white, but now at my other PC (IBM monitor) I see the purple color.

your portrait very is successful. perhaps a lack of contrast, but I am not certain, the child is very soft.
I like much framing because we see that he put his hands behind his back that reinforces aspect of kindness and timidity too.

nice capture of this kid, but the hair blends in with the background, the B/w is fine here, but it lacks something. But good job

Good choice of b&w for this one, Kike, it makes the shining bright eyes of the boy stand out particularly well as he is facing your camera. The posture with the hands folded behind his back is also nice. I like this new portrait from you. Perhaps the color of the border should have better been a plain white instead of the purple-ish looking gray.

Nice portrait of this beautiful boy. I like his direct look to the camera. Because his dark hair blends in the bg it doesn’t matter that not all of the head in the frame.
