please no fight...well, if you can take some cash from this, no problem at all :) Back to the compo, you've chosen a nice pov. The diagonal line is always welcome and you knew that. Nice to see the tree breaking that line. Good tone contrast with the blue and cloudy sky. Very well presented!

Hello Kristine.
A very strong diagonal works wonders here, seeming to add the force of gravity to your image, and the tree and little patch of blue sky take the gaze before it comes back to the sharply defined grasses in the opposite corner. A very well controlled exposure that allows the shadows and higlights to stand out without going to extremes. Quite a dramatic shot, really, that suggests to me quite a strong wind blowing. Very good work.

good use of the diagonal, a very expressionistic tree that have the same kind of kneeing movement as the ochre grass in FG. this POV also gives the impression of a quite hard walk, correct me if I'm wrong.

I really like this fluffy stuff, I must say!
In this case : that diagonal and the wind perform miracles, as they add some weird & very tangible dynamics to the picture. Something sort of "levitates" in this scene, and that's the whole point : since the moment I can't quite pinpoint it, I feel attracted by it...

Dear Kristine,
Thanks to some extra things the image becomes more interesting the longer you look at it. It's the blue in the upper left against the green and yellow stripe in the middle what brings colour, but also the diagonal line gives more power to the whole image, while the tree makes a nice focalpoint....very nice and clever composed.

Nice detail you've captured here!!
But I'm not sure about the fluffy!!
Fluffy is like little bunnies. Fluffy is like getting an immediate attack of hay fever when watching a photograph. Or it's like little lamb jumping around in the meadows. Poppies blooming is fluffy. And big fat beds of lavender, but without those woody hard parts of some types...
Talking about the wooden hard parts... :-))))
The tree and the brances coming into the compositions from the right clearly un-fluffy (!! I claim that word immediately now !!) your composition. But when not grading it on a fluffy-scale from 0 to 10 and just looking at the composition, it gets an 8 ++. ;-)

Kristine, I like your note, it is interesting and clever. As for the photo it well represents the not and is interesting enough to draw us into the note, but what I really like is that at first glance it is an average scene but on closer inspection there is great detail. Another fine job.

Hello Kristine! I have a fluffy pillow and as it has started to rain I wouldn't mind to get mine out, jump into my pyamas, click the TV on, watch a good movie, have some wine maybe. Well, what can I say about some shrubs and an old tree? I can feel the earth, being close to it, be outside, nature-bound, touch the ground. I like the blue that comes out up there, still hiding behind the white. Excellent quality, your "preparation" is always great. Have a good work-out ... saw your note to Henk, Barbara.

This looks wonderful due to tilt angle and good sharpness with colors. Those brown grass and colors is very good and that lonely tree in backround looks really great, Nice wind there. A good shot which force to feel something cool.

This an incredible shot, Kristine,
I love the way the light is coming into this shot and it seems the wind was blowing. The color is lovely and the sharp angle of the hill running diagonally through the shot is marvelous. I like the way the tree fills in to the left and you got great detail. Fabulous view and the sky is a perfect backdrop. Beautiful work.... Many thanks and warmest wishes,
