after initial hickups and some cleaning up, here is another attempt at this post.

wild horses in the Cotopaxi National Park caught in what seems to be a yoga demonstration:
- and then you assume the Upward Facing Dog pose...
- we are HORSES, are you SURE we do that?...

on a lighter note, because it's T.G.I.F.! (Thank God It's Friday!), and there's nothing better than yoga to strech our backs after ump-teen hours spent in front of a computer screen writing critiques.

Critiques [Translate]

Hi Kristine, This is worth a critique just for the excellent & funny title, it put a smile on my face, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

I am gald you "cleaned up" and found your inner balance for a wonderful day in New York City. The sun is shining here and I have just spent two hours in a restaurant with a good friend and he always brings me to other spheres (he is a graphic designer ... someone that understands TE and our passion for "nice things") and I always return to work in a good mood. What can I say, this is all so funny and I can't think of anything serious right now other than thank you and life is only half as complicated with a little TE yoga class :)))) And back to work ... only a few hours to go before my working day ends ... Barbara.

hey there :)

this is really funny and i think, you've caught that horse'ish conversation exact. the red one does seem like a confident yoga instructor, lol.

nicely balanced composition in my opinion. well seen, interpreted and presented :)

hugs,
K.

MUY BUENA FOTO, LINDOS COLORES, QUIZAS UN POCO DE ILUMINACION MEJORARIA.....PERO ESTA PRECIOSA

Learning thru observing...
A natural, very effective behavior of the animals...

Some of the human species absorbed this kind of an education and improved greatly, but most of us (opinion based upon observing the photographic development of the majority of the population on TE) - rather not !

Quite the opposite - I would say...

Abundance of green food, made our brains seized their normal, logical behavior and go ape - instead.

Thanks Almighty - we still have the horses !!!

Have a great WE, Kristine

Haha, perfect title! What a lovely photo. The colours are great, really nice compo!

I really like the title, Kristine!
And... the composition, of course.
Excellent timing, great natural colors (those reds are wonderful), all in all simply... lovely!
Cheers,
Fulvio.

HI Kristine,
I thought I lost my mind. I saw the picture early this week and then it was no longer there. Excellent timing , nice shot accompanied by a good note.
funny title.:)))
Take care and have a great weekend.

Hi Kristine!
Great title for this good shot. The three different colored horses contrast so well with the landscape.Sharpness is good and you had a good timung to catch the front horse in this pose.

Hi Avene,
Yeah the two 'students' do look VERY skeptical about assuming this pose. Nice detail and color, you cqan even see the bulging vein on the 'yoga instructor's' face from the strain of the position.

Oh, Kristine,
I LOVE your sense of humor. I like this shot a bunch. That red horse doing yoga stands out so wonderfully against the other more subdued colors. I like the way each horse is facing in a different direction, too. Nice detail, great clarity. This is just a thoroughly enjoyable shot. Thanks so much and have a great Sunday.

Great capture Kristine, good timing on the horse and a well composed shot. Never seen a horse in this strange position before. Regards Steve.

Hi Kristine,

I know this one is suppose to be funny but I was told that horses never lay or sit unless if they are ill or pregnant. Did horse get up? Please tell me that it is. It is so beuatiful! All of them. I love the colour tones from most vivid redish to almost black with perfect background. I love this animals. They are so magnificent. Ill or not ill, capture is excellent.

Kind regards,
Jeri

Hello Kristine,
I am thoroughly delighted and impressed with the photos of Ecuador that you, Kristaps and Henk have taken of this amazing country. Ecuador was one of the last places that I have been interested in traveling to until I have seen your photos of this fascinating country. I live at 5,280 feet above sea level so I would be at least partially acclimated to this top of the world area. I like your sense of humor and animals really do make us laugh at ouselves. My cat is sitting on my lap now and laughting at his hapless servant. This is a great photo and another excellent addition to your wonderful travelogue!

Hi Kristine,
Great natural capture of these magnificent beast chilling on the flat valley floor. Beautiful colors and wonderful focus of these lovely horses in their natural state.
Regards, Tom

Hi Kristine, this is not only a very nice picture but also a funny one :) Yes it seems to be a yoga session !
I was time to stop on contrasts and the result is really sharp and pleasant to watch, full of relaxation and serenity, it has a great effect on my mind :)
Excellent

Hello Kristine
Wow ! Indeed the tongue in cheek title is very befitting! Well done with the compo. & you were lucky (!?) to have the 3 horses in 3 different colours. Fine use of shallow DOF as well highlighting them against the OOF BG. A fine post & a good comparison with the picture in the link (even as an Indian, the birthplace of Yoga, I had no clue about this asana's name!)
Best Regards
Angshuman
