great shot for it shows reality : i explain, women and girls in south america are indeed very provocative with men... this is well conveyed in this picture:-) i like also the contrast with the little boy sit next to her... bravo for this composition... great shot!

Very interesing picture!

Considering your situation (the husband . . .) you managed to get a good picture, it is pitty that you cut the legs, my suggestion is to have more agressive cut, somwhere over the right knee of her and below the left knee of the child.

I don't really care for the boy here, takes away from the shot I think. If it was just her on the steps the image would have worked way better. I like her expression and she does look amazing. Also, pity about the cropped feet. Anyway, if you got more, show 'em. Well done.

Strange the first WS proposition didn't crop the upper part of the pic which really distracts me (see my own WS).
I understand you took the shot for the girl but compositionally it doesn't fulfill the requirements for an outstanding photo IMHO,feet are cut out the boy isn't really in the mood...I wish your image was as good as the girl...

funny, i´ve just read the comments about her look being 'hot' etc... she is just posing for you. but as a south american myself, i must add we feel a great attraction for people from above the equator line. further explanations would require an entire essay about the imaginary, the recognition of the other, the white skins and the snow, the languages spoken in europe, our idea of progress... also, because of this apparent neverending summer feeling, we tend to be rather vain as far as bodyshape is concerned.
sorry if i sound too scientific ;) but she probably does not know about all ideologies which drive her look. (or she does, who knows? ;))

I think if something comes thru the pix other than just shooting a "chica", be it seduction or sensuality, it certainly has its place. A true woman lover is also a people lover, and it's not about pornographic lust. Life and travels are made of special encounters with other people. If it's a man and a woman, 2 minutes or 2 months, well, there is worthy celebration at putting that moment in a shot. IMO

I have a feeling the kid there was a good excuse to take the pix while the BF was around, though..... :-)

What a beautiful woman of obvious mix African and ?? ancestry. Indeed, the province of Esmeraldas' ethnic composition is 70% Black-Ecuadorian or people of African ancestry. As an African-American with black parents and grandparents of mix ethnicity she bares a stricting resemblance to some of my female relatives who are themselves black.
