[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While in the Galapagos, our boat's constant companions are these birds, frigate birds I believe is their name, they stick around hoping for a free meal, you're not supposed to touch wildlife in the Galapagos but i don't know the rules about feeding them, our crew seems to enjoy giving these birds some freebies. I like this photo because it shows how graceful these birds are.

Always great Galapagos. Hah birds are like bats :)
Regards.

Hello Gil! You really made an artistic, dramatic and spooky photo here! It's great! You can also use the upper half to create a completely different photo, also a great one. I look forward to more of yoour pics! Best regards, Chris.

Hi Gil,
Nice composition. You managed to catch those birds in a very nice way.
Cheers!

Hi Gil,

It is not that easy capturing birds in flight, but you got it right!

I like the idea of having them photographed in their context... sea, sky, soil... more than the usual isolated bird occupying most of the frame. Composition is great!

Best regards,
Carlos

Bonjour Gil,
Une superbe prise de vue où le moment opportun a bien été choisi. Belle composition. Bravo. Gérard

Hi Gil

I can see why you like this picture. I do too.

The frozen movements of the birds gives quite an impression. Well done.

regards
Ivar

Hello Gil,
Yes you are right these birds are graceful but seem a little bit frightening as well aren't they. The sky is somewhat crowdy and reminds me of Hitchcok movie. Very nice picture.
Regards. Christian

Hi gil
I think I know what you mean when you say that these birds are graceful. I like their sleek outlook as if they are designed for the kill ... very aerodynamic. THe bird on top is my favourite
thanks for sharing this man
cheers .... sarju

Very well composed and interesting, you've done well to catch these birds in flight. As cjmm said, you captured the context of this very well at all, and have made a much more descriptive and useful picture out of it.

Thanks!
sam

hi, lovely shot of the birds in movement, it is true that they look better with the light backgroud (preferably the sky), i wish there was no boat, but generally i like the image very much, I guess i would cut the right part of it to make a vertical composition, what do you think?
greetings
ukasz

Hello Gil,
a very nice catch, excellent timing, you have perfectly froze the scene. I like also the contrast between the nice blue and those dark birds.
Well seen
Luan

- Beautiful shot, Gil, very good capture for the birds, cheers !

Hi Gil.

What a marvolous capture! It looks like a scene from "Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds".
I also love the WS BlaiseCendrars submited.

Thanks, Yonathan.
