In the jungle #2 Photo

Photographer’s Note

The house in the jungle. The owner of this house had parrots, monkeys, tapirs, pekaris, kapibaras, crocodiles and coatis (instead of the dogs). They lived in their environment and it was a big attraction for the guests to have opportunity to stroke a tapir (fantastic soft fur it has!!!) or coati.
This was in the rainforest so it rained heavily, besides the photos are old and scanned so the quality is as it is.

Noo, dziś jest jakiś mieszkaniec. Ale szkoda, ze technicznie coś siadło. Pod światło trudno jest zrobić dobre zdjęcie.

Hi Malgorzata,

The brilliant red of the parrot stands in such vivid contrast to the lush green of the vegetation. The near-ten year old image has withstood the ravages of time. The scan is very good, and the the dark frame holds the image together well. The list of animals is a lesson in zoology. I know the tapir to be a huge rodent, is the coatis a rodent also?

Takie zdjecia naprawde wiele wnosza i choc jakosc w porownaniu z Twoimi ostatnimi odslonami troszke gorsza to mi sie takie dokumentalne zdjecia podobaja. Ja tez przed swietami wrzucilem Mikolaja na lodzi tylko po to by inni, ktorzy jeszcze czegos takiego nie widzieli mogli zobaczyc. Nie przejmowalem sie jakoscia. Nie przejmuj sie i Ty i dawaj wiecej;) Papuga tak wspaniale kontrastuje z otoczeniem, ze az by sie chcialo walnac jej kilka portrecikow;)

la cosa che risalta subito agli occhi è la macchia rossa del pappagallo in mezzo al verde della vegetazione.

This red parrots is a unique eye catcher, the whole picture turns around it. I've often noticed that in tropical countries with thick jungle like here the sky is usually white, due perhaps to the cloudy sky. Quite good for a scan.

Fantastic colours of this bird, it would certainly be an experience to see it in total freedom, in the rainforest. Beautiful birds in all WS:s and very good scans.

bella immagine dove il rosso del pappagallo contrasta magnificamente con il verde della giungla. Leggendo le tue note immagino che sia stato veramente emozionante visitare questa casa come fosse l'Arca di Noè con tanti animali dentro.

You have really been to many places, This is truely a TE type image, of places that not many has been to. This reminded me of my own trip to the Amazon jungle near Cocca in Ecaudor. Really nice quality from the older day. Thanks

Fajne foto z deszczowego lasu.
Szkoda że to zagrożony obszar - na pewno wart jest zachowania na wieczne czasy...
