| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Puyo (pop. 24,000), Ecuador's largest jungle town, had its 108th anniversary on May 12.
Virtually the whole city was celebrating on the main street, either participating in the endless parade, or watching it.
It's good news that this kind of events still take place in the era of television and consumerism.
I chose this shot, with the dynamics of the celebrations and a bit busy, so as to include a glimpse of the town, since it's the first post showing it here in TrekEarth. |

Hello Daniel,
A colourful picture with the children and them dance steps, very sharp for a moved picture, nice detail can see above about the fashion of legs the lady, very well done.
Best regards,
John.
Hello Daniel
Interesting view of the parade,
nice show of the colourful costimes and street life. I think you should have also taken a photo from a low angle right up close to the kids to get more dynamism
Regards
Daniel
quite tricky this - the billboard legs (what legs! by the way) marching to the left, while all the rest of the gang marching to the right...funny juxtaposition...
best wishes, j.
