[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is no shortage of waterfalls in the oriente of Ecuador. The one pictured is located in a secluded area outside of Puyo, and reached after a relatively challenging hike through some dense forest. As you can see, the lush green colors are spectacular. Just donīt slip on that moss!

Not having brought my tripod, I balanced my camera on some rocks as best I could. The area can be very dark even during midday, making handheld shots almost impossible. This 5 second exposure turned out to be my favorite.
