| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This photo is of Mario, a guide originally from the Tena area but who has lived in Puyo for the past ten years. He took us on a hike to see some of the nearby waterfalls, and along the way made the crown pictured using some tree bark and his trusty machete. The idea to climb up and pose behind this large tree was his, and I happily went along with it. Afterwards he lent me the crown, but I think it looked better on him than me! |
