Surreal and nice. The church of San Antonio in Riobamba. In the backround you can see the volcan Altar. Riobamba is surrounded from a couple of volcanos: Altar, Carihuairazo, Chimbarazo, Cubillín, Tungurahua, Tulabug and Sangay.

Very eye catching. Just like a Dali painting. Technically you handled all aspects well - sharp, very good saturation, colour brilliant in difficult low light and horizontal lines. Maybe you could have panned a bit more to the left, but then the interesting mountain would not have been visible. Pity about the cut off steeple, with that this picture would have been very close to perfect!

Hello Mario!
Incredible detail and wonderful colours!
Great light and beautiful sky!
Nice perspective!
Excellent done!
Best regards!
Lili

Hi Mario,
I agree with Wildste, technically you've done extremely well with this image, as the clarity, colours and lighting are amazing. I think you missed a great opportunity to capture a perfect image....if there is such a thing....but you've done evrything well, except compose the picture. Definitely the full inclusion of the steeple, and possibly a slightly wider view would have achieved what you needed. I feel I want to see more of what surrounds the church.
Cheers Grant

it`s that the light? or that`s the light???
excellent ecellent excellent

Very good shot. and in low-light, I know it would have been tough.

But I am so upset with you that you chopped off the top of the front tower.. :(

Hi Mario,
Great picture of one of my favorite countries.
Colors are superb and love your background. I can almost imagine seeing the Chimborazo!

Hola Mario,
Bellísimas torres con fantásticos efectos de colores. Buena toma en diagonal que nos deja ver un poco del paisaje y excelentes detalles.
Cordialmente

Hi, Mario. Beautiful subject and great capture of it. Good details, good colors, good sharpness. However, I agree with some of the viewers, that a wider frame was probably required to include the steeple of the church. I do not agree that moving the frame more to the left would benefit the composition though. The way you have framed it, the blue segments of the sky nicely balance the blue lights of the church. The sky-blues would be lost with a framed moved to the left. Anyway, even though the steeple is missinig, I find this picture beautiful.

TFS,
Kristaps

indeed a surreal picture..

the expo is great, the pp work (if there is one) is fantastic

Hi Mario
Congratulations for this gorgeous image. I like the softness of the surfaces and the graduations of the colors.
