Every Thursday, the flower market next to San Francisco Plaza are filled with the most colorful local varieties of flowers. Little old women dressed in colorful attire tend to their beautiful bouquets. This outdoor market is small in size but big in selection. Oh, I wish you can smell them from your computer. It's wonderful.

I really like how you captured this woman surrounded by all these flowers. Her expression gives the viewer an idea that she probably likes this job of tending flowers day after day. Anyway, quite a simple shot that works very well and gives the viewer a clear message. Well done.

Hi Mark,
Beautiful photo and excellent use of DOF.
I visited Cuenca in 1991 and I hope one day to return because there is so much to be seen in this part of Ecuador.
