Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken in the main market in Cuenca. Every Thursday, locals from all around the region gather here to sell their goods. In S.America, anywhere where there is a lot of people, you will find shoe shiners. Here's a photo of a few of them taking a break.

WOW!! i like everything about this photo, it is technically perfect being a street photo... Depth of field, composition, the fact that it tells a story, the newspapers, the perspective, the guys sitting in line... in Buenos Aires it is quite common to see shoe shiners, but each has his corner/spot, they don't sit in line like here... :)
