The smoking Tungurahua des not disturb the locals. They say smoking is quite normal, but eruptions are not.
When I was there (Feb 2008), there were some heavy smoke disturbing agriculture and cattle weeds.
Climbing is strictly prohibited in this moment of high activity. Let him calm down fist, before getting up. There are others less dangerous....

Ein eindrucksvolles Foto! Mein Sohn ("aandk") war auch dort und kommt offenbar von diesem Land nicht mehr los - den Fotos nach, auch verständlich. Der Aufbau Deines Fotos, wie eine Theaterkulisse, ist toll. Das Ganze ist gleichzeitig schön und beängstigend ...
