[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
hey, just a sunny and bright red weekend greeting to everyone here. :)

i happened to meet this still charming lady in the town of Baños shortly after the new year's. fell in love from the first sight...

but somehow i have this nagging feeling that my composition here is not the most elegant one. i would highly appreciate suggestions from the photography experts here, how this could have been improved.

other than that, have a great weekend, folks! :)

It's called:
Play the colors...
What a banal theme (???)
What a wonderful photo !!!!!!!!!

...............

You just offered to us a lesson about the essence of a good photography...

"It's not important 'WHAT' !
It's important 'HOW' ! "

The most simplistic thing can fire into explosion - if you know how to load the gun (If you caught my drift, dear friend ?)

Delightfully smiling...george

Hi Kristaps,
The bright red colors simmers here and pops right off the page. Lovely bits of dust on the windshield nicely reflects the bright sun. This old bug is captured in great light.
Regards, Tom

Very nice picture, good composition and nice color.

Beautiful

Hello Kristaps,
Your photo is fine! The only suggestion that I would make is to not crop your photos too much when you are taking the shot. Zoom out a little bit and give yourself some more leeway. The digital technology makes cropping down from a larger photo much easier. In the analog (film) days I did my cropping and editing in the camera, but I like the flexibility of the digital technology much better. The lighting and the sharp details are outstanding. I drove a VW bug for several years and this brings back memories. Have a good weekend!

Hi Kristaps,
Sunny and... active ! nice oldie originating from Mexico I guess, I like its shining red color and your close framing, the way you have cut the licence plate makes it look swiss, but since we can see well what's written on it no confusion possible...
Have a nice week end JY

Kristaps,
not quite sure what your problem is regarding the composition. I like the tight crop and especially the crop on the license palte just giving the reading of "Ecuador". The PP with the high contrast is also very good.
Peter

Hi Kristaps,
such a perfect example of perfectly elegant simplicity!
IMNAAHO : there's definitely a strong Andy Warhol feel to this one (him taking this picture would see the latter ending up in the MoMA), as well as the boldness of Kim Basinger's red dress in Blind Date.
CLASSY!
I wouldn't change one bit of it, just blow it out, frame it, and hang it in full sight.
This is very elegant, don't worry!
Love it.
Have a great weekend,
Fulvio.

Hello Kristaps,
Nice sharpness and red color here, I like the partial framing of this car, well done!

Good afternoon,
Well, personnally I like it, especially the croping.
Nothing to modify for me

You must have good reasons for this crop and I find it works ok, although you crop the top to avoid some other distractions?

Good colors and a fine bug shot!

Great work, TFS

Hi Kristaps,
Lovely shot, nice tight cropping to bring out the details. I think your composition is excellent here, although I am not an expert :) I like the color.
Well done,
Shaeri

Hi kris,

very beautiful, I like a lot this car, excellent shot with vivid colors and great details.

Very well done!

Hi Kristaps,

at first sorry not to check your gallery frequently. I was in a work trip and didn't have time for that. I know I've lost good ones like you present us in here. I really like your play with dark tones and bright areas. Great work on that. The composition is particular and well presented. Very well done!
Regards,
Carlos
PS: I will soon check your other works!

salut
Beau cadrage et quelle couleur..
Les essuis glaces bloqués vers le haut..
Sur ma gallerie tu trouvera aussi une photo avec une, non pleins de coccinelles
Cyril

Hello Kristaps.

Same color as my BUG

How else to capture a car - some details are well exposed and the tradeplate is well seen as Ecuador. Thanks for sharing this well photographed car.

Regards,
Jusni

Hello Kristaps,

Bien vu, cette image, avec un petit air d'autrefois. Belle idée.

yes, the colour is what makes this shot stand out, the car looks a bit like a raspberry candy. I like the crop you've chosen, "ACTIVE" and "ECUADOR" are essential here, as are the dusty windshields. there's an intelligence behind those round lights, you shou've asked for a model release form.
best,
K.

Hi Kristaps,
Excellent photo of this car that has such an appealing red colour. You placed it well in the composition and the dark background works well. Thanks for sharing!

Lars
