| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
During my first of what have been many visits to the community of Patuloma, Salasaca, I did not want to disturb the local children who were running around and playing nearby, following our little group. As a result, I decided to ¨shoot from the hip¨, taking multiple shots while keeping the camera near my waist. Most ended up being out of focus and/or uninteresting, but this photo here made the effort worthwhile.
Durante mi primera visita a la comunidad de Patuloma-Salasaca, no quería molestar a los niños que corrían y jugaban detrás de nosotros, siguiendo al grupo. Por eso elegí sostener la cámara cerca de la cintura y así intentar varias tomas. Casi todas salieron borrosas y/o poco intersantes, pero la foto que ven aquí hizo que todo valiera la pena. |
