Well, with regard to my latest photo this one seems a bit out of place... Anyways, I just returned from my 4weeks stay in Ecuador and decided to post again.
This image was taken minutes after sunset from volcano Pichincha and shows the south of Quito and volcano Cotopaxi on the very left of the image. It was a really beautiful evening and I sure will post other images of the stay up there!

Incredible! At the same time I can see the volcano, I can also see the city almost merging with that! Everything seems to be the same! Great shot!

Excellent picture.
The city is completely lit and the main avenues can be distinguished from the sea of lights. At the same time there is enough daylight to let us distinguish the silhouettes of the mountains surrounding the city.
I think that the cloud to the left is being illuminated from below by the lights of the city. Am I right?
What is the source of the red-orange light towards the bottom of the picture, like a line of flowing lava?
Best regards.
Jürgen

Wow, what excellent lighting you have in this photo. The city is completely lit up, while on the right there is still some sunlight remaining. The colours are fantastic, and I like the city's lights on the cloud above it. You managed the light perfectly with the exposure.

A stunning photo. Do post more from here please!!!

Wonderful shot Andreas, I see people uploading photos after photos but all just boring to look at with no thought whatsoever gone into it and then I see yours with a very nice and sharp emage, good choice of light and depth of field, well done for this shot, I apppreciate good photos and this is defenetely on of them, congratulations again, Salas

Beautiful picture! Literally breathtaking! (I was on Cotopaxi once, so I know.) The streaks of the car taillights are a bit grainy, could be smoothed out with a smudge brush.

The exposure is a perfect capture.

Hi Andreas, very very good photo! Great POV and colors! Very interesting place!
