This is the last shot I took during my stay in Ecuador with my feet on ecuatorian ground. It shows my 757 prior to departure to Bogotá. Actually I expected a 757 to be too huge to fly such a short distance especially because a MD-83 was scheduled but I loved that fact that they used the powerful Boeing. With the sun still behind the mountains I boarded and waited for lift-off. It was a rather sad moment because I could see Cotopaxi already hit by the firts rays of light (like in this shot) an then during ascend the whole city beneath the wings...
